Grieving Lopes and Petkau Families

In the wake of an unthinkable tragedy, two families are grappling with the unimaginable loss of their loved ones due to a fatal shooting incident in Belmopan, Belize. Our hearts ache as we come together to support these families during this devastating time.

The families of Salvatore Lopes and George Petkau are in need of financial assistance to cover unexpected expenses. No family should ever have to endure the pain of losing a loved one, especially under such tragic circumstances.

Two beautiful people gone too soon; Laura Fiorito, wife of Salvatore Lopez and mother to Sara (11) and Tristan (7), and Megan Petkau, 8 year old daughter to George and Sarita and sister to Carter and Francis, lost their lives while stopping for ice-cream at the market after school on Tuesday, March 12. We are asking for support to help with medical expenses including therapy of both survivors, Sara and Tristan, who were both shot during the incident, as well as easing the financial burden of lost income due to so many things needing to be taken care of.

Please pray for the God of all Comfort to overshadow the grieving Lopes and Petkau families during this incredibly difficult time as they navigate through the challenging process of saying goodbye to their cherished loved ones and considering how to move forward after such an incredible loss.
