On Tuesday, April 28th, Evan’s mother received a call that is every mother's worst nightmare. Evan was called home at just 28 years old. He was brutally gunned down in a senseless act of violence. Evan was the calm in everyone's storm. He was a son, a grandson, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, an uncle, and a friend to many. Evan was a gentle soul. He was kind, soft-spoken, and gave the best hugs, especially when you needed them most. Evan always took the time to listen to everyone. His dry humor was appreciated by everyone that loved him. To have known Evan is to know that his past choice didn’t define who Evan was or who Evan worked so hard to be. Evan went on to be Assistant Manager at Against All Odds clothing store and was most recently employed with Hudson Valley Harvest. We are asking for your support, so his mother Kristine can cover the costs of a proper burial as well as any additional expenses.
Any donation would be much appreciated. We hope it can be one less thing for the family to worry about in this time of grief.
