On the 17th of March 2021 our friend/brothers life was torn apart when his Daughter was taken away in an instant. Words can not fully express the heart ache that Jake and his Family are currently facing.
We have created this Go Fund to be a voice for Jake and his Family and to show that we are here to support them and they are not alone.
Society's mentality is often that Fathers are strong and men don't cry and from this most times we don't speak or seek help. Often it is bottled up and in time can lead to further distress that we do not want to endure.
When your child dies, there is no “getting over it.” You’ll laugh again. You’ll enjoy life again. You’ll love again. But you also will cry every Christmas morning, every birthday and sometimes just because. That’s okay. You’ve experienced a wound that doesn’t ever fully heal. You loved with your heart and soul, and your grief is simply a manifestation that your love is still alive – forever.
These funds will go towards supporting Jake and his Family through these traumatic times and will allow them to mourn. Jake is not currently in the right mindset to return to work and this will financially support him to keep a roof over his familys head and not be under financial stress, and when the time is right to seek professional guidance to get through the tough years ahead.
Any amount big or small would be greatly appreciated and we thanks you for your support for our Brother.
