Hello, I'm Jacalyn and reaching out for help for my sister and her family because my amazing sister and brother in law, Charlotte and Shane, tragically and unexpectedly lost their youngest son Allister Bennett just 3 years old. He had such an amazing spirit, such a zest for life. He was interested in things most three year olds might have slight interest in, but he wanted to know more. He learned all about the solar system, including all the planets, dwarf planets the moons. He loved music, watching his dad play guitar and asking Alexa to play believer by Imagine Dragons, best day of my life, or eyes blue over and over. He loved spinning tops and he knew all the shapes. He had such a bright little mind and he brought so much light to this world. Allister went peacefully in his sleep on January 12, 2023.

As a sister, my job is to be there for support and help in any way that can and the mission set upon my heart has been to raise funds in order to pre-pay for a year of grief counseling for them to help them navigate these treacherous and uncharted waters.

No one prepares for such a loss and when you're faced with such a life altering event it's really difficult to know what's next. Having somebody to help you through this and talk to you through these things during these kinds of times is essential in health and healing. Charlotte and Shane are absolutely amazing parents to say the very least, and are putting on brave faces and still raising their oldest son through the grief. I could go on all day about what an inspiration they are to me.

In a world that's already difficult to navigate, with our support we can help this amazing family find their footing once again.
