Gribensk Family House Fire Relief Fund

Donation protected
There was a house fire and it was bad. Our son, Bryan Gribensk, daughter-in-law Allyson and grandson Jacob had just finished supper and Bryan decided to start a fire in the fireplace. Allyson and Jacob were in the bedroom, Bryan was in the kitchen. He heard a "pop", turned to go back into the living room and the couch was on fire.
It seems an ember popped from the fireplace... the fire spread hot and fast.
Allyson and their son Jacob couldn't get out of the bedroom because the burning couch was too close to the bedroom door. Bryan pushed the couch out of the way so they could get out safely. Once they were safe, he then turned around to try and save the cats. The dogs, fortunately, were already outside.
Bryan suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation. He went to the ER and was released late that night/early morning. Physically, he's doing well. Jacob is on the Autism spectrum and just wants to go home.
The fire spread quickly and was so hot it melted the light bulbs in the ceiling fan. They made it out with what they were wearing and flip-flops on their feet. They're a good, decent, hardworking couple with too much pride to ask for help, so here I am, with the help of my brother-in-law Kenneth Bigley, asking for them. - Diane Gribensk Knight (mom to Bryan, Grandma to Jacob, bonus mom to Allyson)

From my Allyson and Bryan Gribensk : " It's crazy how fast your life can get turned upside down.  Wednesday, February 5th, our house caught on fire.  We all made it out safely with our dogs and firefighters were able to save both of our cats.  We are so blessed that our family is intact.
While we are all okay, our house is not.  Almost all of our belongings inside the house are gone and the damage to the house itself will take months to repair.  We have been overwhelmed with the support we've been offered from family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, acquaintances and even total strangers.  Thank you, thank you, thank you all so much.  We are putting the pieces of our life back together and you all are doing amazing things to help with that process.  Our time of need will not be over for many months, so if any of you find yourselves wondering how to help, we ask first for prayer, and second for anything your heart leads you to give.  Again, thank you to every single one of you from the bottom of our hearts."
