Our amazing Grey had just started 2nd grade when we noticed something was wrong — constant headaches, vision trouble, and declining focus. After an urgent care visit and multiple school meetings, an eye specialist finally saw swelling and scarring that required immediate attention. At the hospital, our world stopped. Greyson had a mass on his brain and needed emergency surgery for a VP shunt, followed by a second surgery for a biopsy and debulking. The diagnosis: Optic Pathway Glioma — a rare brain tumor that affects vision, growth, and neurological function.
Since then, Grey has already endured:
• Two brain surgeries
• In-patient and out-patient therapy
• Port placement
• Nearly 13 weeks of chemotherapy
Because chemo has weakened his immune system, Grey cannot attend school in person. He now does virtual homeschool, away from his friends and the normal childhood he deserves. Balancing treatment, fatigue, and vision challenges has been incredibly hard on him — but he remains brave, bright, and unbelievably strong.
The financial strain of treatment, travel, missed work, and caring for both children has become overwhelming. Your support will help us cover:
• Transportation to the hospital
• Medical bills and medications
• Virtual homeschooling needs
• Therapy and follow-up care
• Essential family support during this long journey
Greyson calls his supporters the Greygoyles — fierce protectors who stand watch over him. By donating or sharing, you become part of his squad as he fights this tumor with everything he has.
Any contribution — big or small — brings us one step closer to stability and gives Grey the best possible care. If you can’t donate, sharing means the world to us. Thank you for loving, supporting, and standing with our boy.
