Grey’s cancer battle

Donation protected
In February of this year my boyfriend Grey was diagnosed with stage three rectal cancer.
It still seems so unreal. So unfair, at the age of 33 to have advanced cancer. It’s unfortunately a large tumor and due to size and placement was not eligible for surgery yet. The doctors moved quickly and have a good plan to attack it aggressively. In March he started both chemo and radiation five days a week.
As you can imagine this has been a very scary, overwhelming and difficult time for all involved, but especially Grey. He’s one of the toughest humans I’ve ever met. He’s been told he is doing very well. However, the last few weeks the side effects have hit him hard and he has not been able to work. With the assumption things are only going to get worse it’s very unclear when he will be able to return to work. We’re only close to 3 months in on what is going to be a very long journey and the bills are already stacking. Hospital bills, anesthesia bills, procedures, scans, diagnostic test, Doctor visits, copays, specialist, chemo drug costs etc. Every day he has chemo and radiation he pays a copay. These cost rise every.single.day. On top of everyday living expenses including his car, gas to drive back and forth to treatments, appointments and his home mortgage and more.
If you have had the pleasure to know Grey, you know he has never asked for anything in his life. He’s humble and won’t ask for help. He has a huge heart and would literally do anything for anyone. Grey and I met two years ago and he has brought so much light into my life. He is a wonderful boyfriend, father, son, friend and brother. This has truly been so unbelievably hard for him already and the side effects have already affected his quality of life. He never has asked me or anyone else for any help. He deserves to fight this cancer and focus on himself and to be selfish for once. I’m hoping to make a goal to raise money to help and support him financially to make this tough time easier for him, if even a little. I also believe he deserves (and needs) to be reminded of all the true love and support he has behind him. That he’s not alone in this at all. I won’t pretend for a moment to understand emotionally, mentally and physically the pain and anguish he is having, but I’m seeing it in him more and more everyday. If you’re able to donate it would mean so much to Grey and I. I also have Apple Pay, Facebook pay or if you choose not to donate through this fundraiser, I can privately message you his address as well to send a card or donation! Thanks for all the love and support, it will mean more to Grey than any of you know! ❤️❤️❤️
