Hi everyone,

Our lady in the woods, Gretchen, has had a bad fall and fractured her femur. As most of you know, she lives alone in the forest splitting and stacking her own wood for the winter. She also plows her very long driveway, snowblows, chainsaws, gardens, maintains the property and is just a general badass (not bad for 80!)

Our goal is to get her back to her lifestlye ASAP. For her transition from the hospital to get home she will need a careworker and a physiotherapist. As anyone who knows Gretchen is aware, she gives away anything she has to anyone in need. It is our turn to give back to this wonderful and strong woman so she can continue to defy the laws of nature.
