Hi my name is Salvador, and I’m doing this for Gretchen Cuadrado. My best friend and other half. She was sadly diagnosed on Sept 6, 2022 with Steven Johnson’s Syndrome and committed into Kendall’s ICU Burn unit. We knew nothing of this disease before. It has been the scariest, horrific and saddest experience in our lives. Gretchen has been fighting for her life for over 40 days with over 8 surgeries. This disease has attacked and destroyed anything possible, 55% of her body was burned from the inside out, pneumonia, bacteria in the blood, failing lungs, damage to her eyes and the list can keep going. But Gretchen is a fighter, she’s always been and she has fought to live. God has another plan for her and this isn’t her time.

For anyone that has never met Gretchen, she’s an individual that gives nothing but love and puts herself before anyone. She has the kindest heart that people are just drawn to her and fall in love with who she is instantly. Always with a positive attitude even in a time like this. Full of smiles and laughter. I wish everyone can meet Gretchen or find someone in they’re life just like her. Myself, friends and family are very lucky to have her.

Im here asking anyone to find it in they’re hearts to help in anyway possible. Gretchen will have a very long road to recovery that will take up to a year from learning how to walk, eat, speak and see allover again. Between medical and personal financial bills it will be extremely difficult. We would love to mostly focus on her recovery and getting our Gretchen back to 100%.
