In Loving Memory of Greta McGarrity

In Loving Memory of Greta McGarrity

On December 29th, 2023, our beautiful mum and nanna, Greta McGarrity, sadly passed away after her brave battle with Crohn’s disease. She was not only a wonderful mother and a devoted nanna, but truly a beautiful soul — kind, selfless, and full of love. She would have given anyone her last penny without hesitation, always putting others before herself.

To honour her memory, our family is taking part in a sponsored walk on Saturday 28th June, to raise funds for Crohn’s & Colitis UK, a charity that works tirelessly to support those affected by these life-changing conditions. This cause is especially close to our hearts, as Greta's son Gavin (our brother/uncle) is also living with Crohn’s disease.

Every step we take is for our beautiful angel — and for everyone still fighting. Any donations, no matter how big or small, will be deeply appreciated and will go towards helping others get the care, support, and hope they need.

Thank you for helping us keep Greta's memory alive and supporting such a vital cause.

We also want to thank Paul, Luke and Louise for joining us in this event. It means the world to have you all there with us - not just for the walk, but for the love, support and laughs along the way. (and another huge thank you to Paul, we can't take all of the credit for your idea!).

Paul and Louise, even though you never got the chance to meet our shining star, she would've loved you and accepted you into our family with open arms. Thank you for honouring her and being a part of something so special to our family.
