Gregs Hope For a Cure

Greg is a 56 year old dad, grandfather, son, brother and friend to many. Greg has always been very healthy and strong until this past year when, after several days of indigestion, he ended up in the emergency room with horrific adnominal pains. To everyone’s shock, Greg was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer that had already spread to his stomach and neck lymph nodes. Doctors immediately started a 24-hour round of chemotherapy.

The chemo quickly took a toll on Greg’s body. Once strong and healthy, Greg is now having trouble getting up and down the stairs by himself. Greg is too weak and tired to get out of bed, much less do the activities he loves like Disc golf.

As many of you already know, the prognosis for esophageal cancer at stage 4 is grim, because it means it has already spread to other areas of his body. Greg’s family and friends are providing him with much needed daily care, companionship and prayer, but Greg's medical costs, which are 100% out of pocket and exceeding $3,000 a month, are unfortunately beyond his family's ability to pay.
