Greg's Heart

Hello everyone...as many of you know, our brother, our son, our friend Greg Smith has been hospitalized since Saturday, 4/1/17 with a worsening heart condition.  He had myocarditis (an enlarged heart) as a teenager due to a virus, but it may not have ever truly resolved itself. He has also been battling an infection that is 'yet to be determined',  and is also having issues with his lungs. They just put in a temporary aortic pump to help his heart pump properly and a catheter in his neck to monitor things. He will most likely be in the hospital for awhile (he is currently in the best cardiovascular hospital in the WORLD - the Cleveland Clinic Coronary ICU) as they continue to monitor him & assess his needs and next steps. He is not doing well and needs all the prayers, love, & support he can get!! At this point, he has a long road ahead of him...and doesn't have any medical insurance. He will also be missing alot of work so lost wages is a major issue. Please consider giving any way you can to help support him at this time! For Greggie! xoxoxo
