Our father, Greg, is a Navy Veteran living in Oklahoma. After a recent stroke, he learned that he has only two arteries instead of three going to his heart and of those two they are 70% and 80% blocked along with a very leaky valve that must be replaced. The surgery will have to be done within the next 2 to 3 weeks at a hospital that is nearly 2 hours from their home. Also the surgery cannot be done at the VA hospital but at the OU Hospital in the City. This will also require our mom to get lodging for a week in the city and pay for food.  His children, Angie Ogden (Roddy), Jeff Roddy & Heather Osborn (Roddy), who are scattered across the country, want to be there also for him and our mom during this very serious surgery. We are trying to raise enough funds to cover out of pocket expenses that the VA will not cover as well as lodging and airfare for his family to be able to rally around him and our mom for the support they will most definitely need during this very trying time.
