Greg's Recovery

Life is full of unexpected events, and sometimes those events can take a toll. Greg Price can certainly attest to that.
During the days leading up to Sunday, October 15th, Greg was accidently pierced by an object on his elbow. Thinking nothing of it, he continued his normal daily routines. It wasn’t until he came to work on that Sunday, did he realize something was very wrong. His elbow had grown to the size of a softball, and he started showing flu-like symptoms. Greg went to the hospital, where they diagnosed him with an aggressive form of infection and sepsis. His family immediately flew in from Minnesota to be by his side as he laid in the Intensive Care Unit. It was there in the ICU, the doctors explained that the worst case scenario would be death, the best would be that he would lose his arm. Greg underwent 2 surgeries and multiple rounds of antibiotics in the hopes of cleaning out the infection and saving his arm. With credit to Greg’s strength and tenacity, a mother’s love, his family and friends support, and the Doctor’s skill, his arm was saved. Greg will now move forward into the recovery phase.
Which leads us to asking for help for this portion of his recovery. Greg recently started a new job and due to the fact that he has not been with the company for a full year, some of the benefits do not cover situations like his. Basically for the 2 weeks that Greg was in the hospital, his paid time off only covered him for 1 week and nothing further. As we would all like for Greg to have a speedy recovery, we want him to have a proper recovery without any unneeded concerns. Additional benefits can become available for him after 30 days, but until then, Greg is going to need assistance with his normal expenses, as well as any medical expenses from his 2 week hospital stay. Those of you who know Greg, know that there is no one else out there that is more deserving of this then him. He is always the first to lend a hand, a smile, a silly story or his heart. So now it’s our turn to return the favor.
