Trish Hinman & Family Needs Community Support ♥

Donation protected
My dad Gregory Hinman was a wonderful man during his life & before his passing on March 13th, 2022; he was a tough Marine, an amazing father of 4 children, and a loyal husband. He worked extremely hard to take care of his family, saving (and also, unfortunately, using the remainder of his savings after his silent heart attack, quadruple bypass surgery, and stroke in 2016) his 401K from work, always putting aside time to spend with me or the boys to go on fishing trips or for hikes in the country around our town, but one of his few flaws was money management and staying on top of important tasks that needed to be done. (outside of his job, which he EXCELLED at!)

Under normal circumstances, now would be the time for family to be grieving, mourning the loss of their loved one, but our family is under such an immense financial burden there is no time to even begin unpacking all we've gone through together.

With the end of his life here, my mom and I are drowning without a life raft. He passed away without a will, life insurance, or a penny in his savings. We have no income for the next 6 months. My mom qualifies to receive his Social Security early because she is disabled, but the application process takes about 5 months, and if approved won't receive benefits until September. She has filed the application, but by the time it gets approved she'll be 60, where she would begin getting his benefits anyways. To be upfront she will receive backpay- but that doesn't help us in the here and now while we struggle.

When it's time for his funeral service, we have no way of paying for a get-together after for friends and family, so we may pay respects and show love for the life my dad lived.

We have just enough money to cover our rent, phone bill, and car insurance on the 1st of May, after that we have nothing.

On top of everything else, our car needs servicing, the check engine light has been on for some time now.

It's incredibly difficult reaching out for help, but we simply cannot do this without it, and now's the time to be asking for a miracle.

Thank you to everyone who helps spread the word or donate, as every penny, nickel, and dime will be going towards our bills & food for the next 6 months, a small gathering for after his funeral, and vital car expenses.
