Gregory Family Roof Tragedy

   Tuesday evening the Gregory family of Grinnell lost the roof off of their home due to high winds during a storm.  Tammie, Roger and Hannah were home when the roof blew off and Tammie was upstairs in the office when the roof blew off above her.  Amazingly, the family suffered no injuries in this tragedy. The roof laid in their front yard while it continued to rain the entire night Tuesday and all day Wednesday!  The family’s bedrooms, office and play room were under that section of roof that was destroyed.  The Grinnell Fire Dept along with S&S Electric was dispatched to the scene to assess  safety and help the family.  Needless to say they are devastated by this loss.   The community of Grinnell is as compassionate and giving as they come!!
