In Memory of Greg Kleis

Donation protected
Greg Kleis was only 40 when we lost him suddenly on July 30, 2016. Anyone who knew my brother knows how generous and ready to help he was, and anyone who met him became his friend. He was always able to stay upbeat even when things weren't going well, and could make anyone laugh. He will be badly missed by so many.

If you'd like to make a donation in the Greg's memory to alleviate the costs of funeral expenses on his family, any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated.

We would be glad to see you at a reception for friends and family on Wednesday, August 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy (Rt.60), Powhatan. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 4 at 11:30 a.m., followed by the interment at Red Lane Baptist Church, Powhatan. In lieu of flowers, other contributions may be made to Make a Wish Foundation. You can leave a condolence online at bennettbardenfh.com

Greg is survived by his wife Michelle R. Kleis; his mother, June Kleis of Powhatan; three daughters, Katelyn Westerhouse (Chase) of Chesterfield, Hailey Knabe of Keysville, Kelly Knabe of Powhatan; sister, Angela Kleis of Fairfax; one grandson, Hunter. He was preceded in death by his father Olney Kleis.
