Gregg Wilks and Charlanne Thomas Need Our Help

Hey Ketchikan, some of our folks need a hand. This is a call for help for Gregg Wilks and Charlanne Thomas Wilks. Though Charlanne and the family been fairly private about it, Gregg Wilks has been in the hospital in Bellingham since being medivac’d there on October 27th. He had COVID, began experiencing severe respiratory distress, and then developed bacterial pneumonia. He was placed on a ventilator before leaving Ketchikan, and was off the vent until his breathing deteriorated again in recent days. He’s now back on the ventilator. In the meantime, Charlanne has been in Bellingham since late October, and needs our help so that she can stay nearby and with Gregg while he fights to get well. Gregg’s twin brother, Babe, has gone to Bellingham and is by Gregg’s side as well. The principal need is for lodging and food for Charlanne in Bellingham. She’s had lots of help from friends and family, but with the latest turn, we need to call out to the Ketchikan community for more help. Charlanne doesn’t want this, but she acknowledges it’s time. Please give what you can to help these good folks.
