Gregg Garibay, 36, passed away at home unexpectedly on Sunday, December 13th, 2020. Gregg was a man who loved to live, as told by the countless friends, family, colleagues, and even brief acquaintances he encountered. He lived for good food, strong drink, music, travel, but above all, deep conversation. His passion was helping others, and he was working on his dream of providing counseling to anyone in need of a new take on life. As friends have said, he would never sugar coat his opinions, but he provided many with the kick in the pants they didn't know they needed. 

While we will never be able to afford the viking funeral he dreamed of (with bagpipes and Will Ferrell singing "Dust in the Wind"), we will be sending Gregg off in prayer and gratitude for the life he brought us all. Being so young and self employed, he did not have life insurance, so all costs will be covered by family. Even the modest ceremony we planned will be a strain when this happened so unexpectedly, and we know other costs are yet to come. 

On behalf of the Garibay family, we humbly ask for your donations to help us give Gregg a send off with dignity and love, especially in these trying times. Details on memorial services will be shared soon with close friends and family. Given the ongoing pandemic, space will be limited. When everything is safe again, we will have the Viking/pirate feast that Gregg deserves.
