Greg's Fight
Donation protected
On October 23 of this year, my cousin was rushed to the ER with severe pain in his abdomen and the doctors discovered a large mass. After emergency surgery, and hours of waiting in fear, his results came back. Greg Clark was diagnosed with colon cancer. He had a spot in his lungs, and multiple lymph nodes, all of which tested positive.
He, his wife, DeeDee Clark, and two children were paralyzed from shock after hearing this news and in a constant state of tears. While so much is still unknown, as this is an incredibly recent diagnosis, both DeeDee and Greg have taken significant time off of work. Everyone in our family has jumped at the opportunity to help them in any way we can, but it won’t be enough for long.
Greg is healing from surgery, and will begin chemotherapy treatments in the next coming weeks. He is in capable hands and is incredibly grateful for his doctors. Greg’s medical bills are already mounting. He will undoubtedly need primary care from his wife, who will also have to take time off without pay. With he and his wife unable to work, their financial situation will be in jeopardy.
While their story is not unique, we are sharing because DeeDee and Greg are in need of your help. If you can make a financial donation to help, we will forever be grateful. DeeDee and Greg are strong believers in the goodness of others, and have spent their lives taking care of those around them. If you cannot donate, please share their story. Every little bit helps.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this.
Greg sees an Oncologist again this Thursday, and we will do our best to update those who wish to follow his journey.
