Directly from Gregory Sears Facebook...........We made it through surgery yesterday, and the "mass" that was causing the blockage could not be removed without causing further damage to my intestine. AFTER BIOPSY RESULTS, it was proven to be cancer. (I read a post last night that said, "at least it wasn't cancer")

During surgery, various "other spots" were discovered that are causing damage to my intestinal tract. Based on biopsy results, they were also proven to be cancerous. My doctor said that even areas NOT affected by cancer are so damaged due to the length of time it was blocked.

I am getting liquid nutrition through a picc line IV, in addition to medications. The report that I received this morning was not a good one. So I'm STILL in need of POWERFUL PRAYERS from my friends and family!

My doctor has agreed to set me up a transfer to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas for continual treatments. This will cost me funds that insurance will not cover. All of my life I've tried to give and help others, and now I'm asking for help for me. I could potentially be out there for MONTHS, and if I expect to see my family during that time, it will cost.
