Help Support the Schaefer-Singleton Family

On October 11th, 2023, a dear friend of mine, Danielle Schaefer-Singleton, suffered an unimaginable loss. Danielle, along with her two daughters were called to the hospital to say their goodbyes to their beloved father and grandfather, Greg Schaefer, who was losing his battle with leukemia. In a devastating turn of events, Danielle's husband, Jon Singleton, suffered a medical emergency at home, and later passed away at the hospital. In a matter of three hours, Danielle and her mother lost their husbands. Danielle and her daughters lost their fathers.

This unfathomable loss has left this family devastated, emotionally and financially. Since October, Danielle and her daughters are struggling to meet their most basic needs. They are now forced to make the difficult decision to move from the home where Jon and Danielle raised their girls. Danielle's oldest daughter, Annalise, is a sophomore at Broward College, her youngest, Emmerson, is a Senior at Cypress Bay High School.

Greg and Jon both loved their families immensely. To honor their memory, this fund has been established to support the Singleton family and Greg's widow, Maryann Schaefer. Any financial assistance the family receives will help ease the mounting financial burdens they face at this time. They need support with funeral/burial arrangements, moving costs, tuition for the girls and help with daily expenses.
