44 year old Greg was at a family dinner and suffered a life threatening esophageal rupture. He was rushed by ambulance to the hospital and into surgery to repair the rupture. He spent the next week in ICU recovering. He suddenly experienced difficulty breathing and it was found that he had multiple clots in his lungs. He was taken into yet another procedure for infusion of a medication to break up the clots.  He spent another week in ICU and then moved to the regular unit.  After 16 days in the hospital, he is expected to be discharged today. He is weak and still experiencing a considerable amount of pain. Greg is the father of six and their sole provider. It is unclear how long he will be out of work and with astronomical medical bills coming, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
