Greg Plant Support Fund

Our dad, Jim Plant, established JD Manufacturing in 1980, and Greg went to work with him at the shop in 1997. For 17 years, Greg worked with our dad to maintain the business. When our dad passed away six years ago, Greg was put in the difficult position of running the shop by himself. He met that challenge head-on and through his tireless efforts, he has been able to keep the shop open.

On October 27th, Greg was admitted to the ICU for sepsis that resulted from a bacterial infection. He is recovering well, but he will require at least several more days of inpatient care which will put his hospital stay at more than one week. There will also be some recovery time at home and in physical therapy before he is able to return to the shop.   

We are creating this support fund to help Greg with the financial burden he will face when medical expenses, business expenses, and personal living expenses are combined with lost income from not being able to work. Anything you can donate will be deeply appreciated, and every penny will go directly to Greg as he continues to fight through this difficult situation.
