My name is Tom Pritchard and this is why my friend Greg Obrien needs your help ...... CAUSE HE DEFINITELY WONT ASK!
Twelve years ago GREG OBRIEN suddenly faced stage two colon cancer. I will never forget the tears or mood in the hospital room, but critically smart decisions were made that day concerning his surgeon and his course of action that thankfully allowed him to recover, adapt, and carry on. If you didn’t know, you never would … CAUSE THAT’S GREG.
Sometime later when ENGINUITY was sold to AAA, Greg was the lead technician and shop foreman, secure, making more and with benefits greater than ever, but he was not the boss ….. he left AAA to do his own thing ….. and TWISTED WRENCH was born. No business sign was necessary because his customers followed him and through word of mouth only, he stayed as busy as he wanted. INTEGRITY IN CAR CARE AND REPAIR should have been his brand description, because his intelligence, honesty, integrity, and the caring effort he gave each of his customers has been the basis of his success …… and is the way that everyone knows and respects him.
NOW ….. GREG OBRIEN is again in the fight for his life. Greg inherited LYNCH Syndrome (HNPCC ) from his mother ….. look it up. Now he has been diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer that has metastasized to his spine. His esophagus is paralyzed, he cannot swallow and his nourishment comes from a feeding tube. He has lost over 60 pounds and is being bombarded with max doses of chemo and radiation. He is receiving the best care possible from a team of cancer and oncology doctors that have been with him for over a decade.
Greg will not ask for help ….. CAUSE THAT'S GREG. But make no mistake that he and ANGELA will need all the monetary help that we can raise. I got permission to write this and to ask you, his friend or his friend’s friend for help. Getting permission was not easy ….. cause that’s Greg.
His good friend Jess Howell and I are starting a GO FUND ME site in GREG OBRIEN’s name.
