Hi, my name is James, and I’m raising funds to cover the administrative costs of renaming the Blackburn Hamlet baseball diamond in honor of Greg Kazmierski.

As many of you know, Greg was the heart and soul of Blackburn Hamlet. He was our unofficial mayor, a valued friend, a treasured brother and son, and a beloved colleague. But to those of us in the Blackburn Hamlet Men’s Fastball League, Greg was so much more; he was our manager, our cheerleader, our bat boy, and our biggest supporter.

Greg’s presence brought warmth, laughter, and unity to our community. His passing left a void that words can’t fully express. To honor his legacy and the incredible impact he had on all of us, we’ve received approval from City Council to rename the baseball diamond in his memory.

We need your help to make it official. The City has approved the renaming, but there is a $2,000 administrative fee required to complete the process. Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering this cost and ensuring Greg’s name lives on in the heart of Blackburn Hamlet.
