Greg Hollaar’s Medical

My dad was in a motorcycle accident on July 20th. He was air lifted to Avera Hospital in Sioux Falls. He sustained bruises to his head and face and also fractured vertebrates in his neck. He underwent surgery to fuse his spine and protect his spinal cord. The surgery was successful and he has no paralysis but will be in the hospital Rehab Unit for 2-3 weeks to help him gain back his mobility so that he will be able to return home. My dad is progressing daily and all the prayers have helped tremendously. I’d like to take the future financial stress off of both my mom and dad by raising money to help with living and medical costs with my dad being out of work while he recovers. I know they both don’t like asking for help, so I being the rebellious child, will do it regardless! You can follow my dads daily progression on the Caring Bridge website.

I hope to take the stress off both of my parents so my dad can focus on recovering and get back home to his family and his favorite of all, his grandkids.

I can’t thank everyone enough for all the thoughts and prayers, I love being able to show my dad the army of support and love he has behind him in one of his most challenging times.
