Greg Hilbers Family

I am raising money for the Greg Hilbers family. On November 2, there was a grass fire racing across multiple counties in eastern Nebraska. Greg and several other local farmers went out with tractors to disc ahead of the fire, helping the local fire departments get it under control. While helping, Greg was in an accident with the tractor and received several injuries including a severe concussion. It has been over a month now, and he is still unable to return to work. He is on leave without pay. His wife has been working his extra part-time job on top of her own full-time job, trying to make ends meet. Now they have been told the insurance claim for medical coverage and missed pay has been denied. While they may be able to fight and eventually get coverage, that doesn't help pay the bills they have now. This is a family that shows up when their friends and neighbors have a crisis. They are truly generous, kind people, and I would love to show them our community's support by giving them a little financial relief so Christmas is not stressful.
