In June, our friend and brother Greg Hammond was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on his brain stem.  He underwent 2 surgeries in early July, but the doctors were only able to safely remove 90% of the tumor.  Now Greg, at 30 years old, faces 6 weeks of radiation (5 days per week) and the possibility of chemotherapy as they try to eradicate the rest of the tumor.

Greg and his wife, Janey welcomed their first child in February - a beautiful, happy little girl named Haven.  Greg is a lineman for National Grid out of the Angola barn.  Unfortunately, with radiation treatments and possibly chemotherapy, Greg will be out of work for many months.  

Even with health insurance, there are many out of pocket expenses that this amazing young family will incur due to his diagnosis.  Greg and Janey are the first ones to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, so let's band together and help make life a little easier for Greg and his young family so they can focus on his recovery.
