Hey yall!

I was recently diagnosed with avascular necrosis of the top of my right femur. This means the top of my femur was not getting enough blood, and the bone began to soften. As this process continued over time the femur head actually began to collapse. Because of this, I am in dire need of a hip replacement. On top of that, my long-term job at Noni's Bar and Deli is unfortunately coming to an end. We are closing our doors on October 28th after a great 15 year run, 6 of which I've been there for.

I have been working through severe pain for the better part of a year and finally saw an orthopedist in September and was diagnosed. I no longer have a normal life even outside of work. Simple things like taking a walk or even picking up something off the ground have become painful endeavors. In short, I can no longer live a normal, fulfilling day to day life.

Because of my condition I will not be able to find new employment before my December 12th surgery date. With approximately 8 weeks of recovery time, I will not be able to work for close to 3 months outside of picking up shifts here and there if any of my contacts need help in the next few weeks.

As a self-pay individual without insurance, Piedmont Hospital is working with me to figure out a payment plan for the procedure. However, without work I will have a hard time covering my living expenses while I am recovering, and also the up-front down payment. I hope to be back at work somewhere by mid-February, but in the mean time any donations would help. I appreciate you all for taking the time to read this and for any help you can offer.
