Hi, I'm Moira, Greg's mom. Let me tell you a bit about the last six months of Greg's life.

As many of you know, we almost lost him in August. The long story short is that after many doctor appointments and 3 ER visits, we found out that Greg was in heart failure with a large clot in his heart. A rare autoimmune disorder called EGPA (eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis) or Churg-Strauss Syndrome had taken over residence in his respiratory system and heart. He has done a lot of recovering through special meds and low-dose chemo therapies. He just had to make another ER visit due to catching Covid after having his immune system knocked out by the very medicine meant to help him. He has made a lot of progress and we are looking forward to great improvement in the months ahead, but he's got quite a few treatments to go, some of which are $5000 apiece. We are encouraged and thank the Lord, most of all, for all the healing and progress Greg has made.

Right before this trial started, Greg decided to buy a home, before prices got any higher. Then suddenly, life changed and the doctor, hospital, and ER bills started rolling in. With so many ups and downs in his daily health, he hasn't been able to work as much as he would like and he doesn't have paid insurance through his work.

Greg has touched a lot of lives, especially in his ministry gift of music and his talents in photography and graphic design, and I think he has more to do. (Enjoy a little old music below!)
