Greg and Kathy Ewing

Greg and Kathy have been on quite a journey. If you feel led to help financially, the funds go straight to Kathy to help support her ability to stay close to Greg. All funds would contribute for gas (currently a 2hr daily commute), hotel nights, food accommodations, and go toward paying for medical expenses.

Here is a glimpse of Greg’s last update from social Media, posted on Monday, May 2:

“Day 4 after the new heart pump…

I had another Defibrillator shock, which takes a lot out of me, that was easily solved with a few adjustments to the machines and medications which made me feel much better. When waiting for a heart transplant, living in the hospital, there’s a constant and complete care from the medical professionals. So for me it’s busy. I have to request time to rest quite a bit. Every area is covered from head to toe.

The wait for a new heart can be a long or short process, and so once again, we’re asking for your daily prayers. We believe God hears and honors them.

Kathy visits everyday, 48 miles from home, and Rachel comes up many weekends to support the both of us. Kevin is finishing and graduating from college in TN. He and Madison will be moving to Sarasota in June and I look forward to his visits then.

A core of support is very, very important. I’m thankful and blessed to have that. Everything is in God’s hands.”
