Greg & Carmen’s road to recovery

Our family, friends & neighbours Greg & Carmen’s lives changed a few days ago, leaving Greg in a seriously critical condition a long way from home.
On the 18th of April 2019, while in Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital for tests, Greg/Dad/Knackers/Wombat/Poppy Wombat/Uncle Wombat unfortunately had an aneurysm burst, causing a blood clot to go to his heart, resulting in a massive heart attack. He underwent 8-10 minutes of resuscitation, which brought him back to all those that love and care for him.
Unfortunately, he suffered a relapse on Monday he 22nd April. He is currently on a ventilator, and has a brain infection.
Greg remains in hospital in a critical state. Carmen has had to travel 6hrs to be at his side.
This has left left both of them without wages coming in. Neither being able to work and waiting for any kind of financial assistance is a long & stressful process.
By starting this this page we hope to ensure the financial burden is less stressful for both Greg & Carmen. Allowing Carmen to stay by Greg’s side during this time.
