On Friday, June 20th, Lisa, Doug, and their family experienced an unimaginable loss when a devastating fire destroyed their home in Arlington, VA, and took the life of their beloved kitty. Just weeks ago, the family was celebrating Joey’s high school graduation — now they are faced with the heartbreak of starting over from scratch.

Lisa and Doug have been a tremendous part of the DC-area community for decades — generous friends, dedicated neighbors, and the kind of people who always show up when others are in need. Now, it’s our turn to show up for them.
