Greenfield Home Flooded - Total Loss

My parents have experienced a major loss due to a City Water Main break in front of their home of nearly 50 years. Everything, including their furnace, water heater, washer/dryer, fridge, bar, workshop, pool table, etc., has been destroyed. We anticipate needing a full demo/rebuild, which is going to be extremely costly. They have no water/sewer and need to stay in a hotel until their house is safe and usable again.

Insurance coverage for sewer/water main breaks will only cover $5-$10k. We are filing a claim with the City but have no idea how much they will cover. Their unresponsiveness and lack of communication is not looking very promising.

My parents are both retired and on a fixed income. Any help you could provide would be so greatly appreciated at this difficult time.
