Hi,

I'm Josh, and I'm raising vital funds for two charities incredibly close to my heart: Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity and Hampshire Hospitals Charity's Forget Me Not Fund, supporting the Butterfly Suite at Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.

After three years of writing, I'm so excited to announce that my original single, 'Like a Butterfly', will be released on all major streaming platforms on 31st October with the aim of raising money for these two wonderful causes.

I originally wrote this song with my sister, Amy, in mind. Amy has cerebral palsy and is unable to communicate verbally, but throughout her life, butterflies have always held a special meaning for her and our family.

The butterfly takes us on a journey of suffering and is transformed into something so beautiful. It’s a metaphor for the suffering we may face in this life and reminds us that, no matter our differences, we are beautiful in each and every way.

More recently, the song has taken on an even deeper meaning.

My wife and I sadly lost our son at 20 weeks of pregnancy. During this incredibly difficult time, we stayed in the Butterfly Suite at Royal Hampshire County Hospital, a dedicated space for families experiencing the loss of a baby.

The kindness, compassion and care we received there will stay with us forever. The lyrics of 'Like a Butterfly' now hold a significance I could never have imagined when I first began writing it.

Through this release, I want to give something back to two places that have played such important roles in our family's life.

Great Ormond Street Hospital, where my sister spent much of her childhood and the Butterfly Suite in Winchester, a place that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
