While the whole world is reeling from coronavirus, our lives have been permanently changed by a lesser known virus - CMV.

Cytomegalovirus damaged Wren's developing brain and left her with a hearing loss and quadriplegic cerebral palsy.   Wren is seven years old and is unable to sit reliably, walk or talk.  She's bright, funny and communicative but needs help with every aspect of her care.  Wren is a wheelchair user and has little independent mobility.

We are raising money for an Innowalk machine to give Wren the benefits we all gain from an active lifestyle.  Through controlled movement and weight-bearing, Wren's muscles, bones and motor functions will develop beyond what we can achieve with manual physiotherapy.  The Innowalk will last Wren into adulthood and should help to reduce some of the long term effects of her condition.

Wren's equipment and therapy needs are significant, life-long and evolving.  We are appreciative of any help towards funding this equipment.
