As well as a love for open water swimming , both Mark and I are blessed to have the daily companionship of some incredible Border Collies. Two of them, Pip and Finn, are rescue dogs, saved from a life of misery or even no life at all by a couple of wonderful small organisations, The Border Collie Spot & Kenmare Animal Rescue, who work tirelessly to find as many dogs as possible a new safe & loving home. Whilst we can never truly say thank you enough for the joy our 'boys' have brought to each of our families, as a small gesture we would like to use the Great North Swim to raise some much-needed funding to help both groups continue their precious work. We will be swimming 1 mile in the choppy waters of Windermere, Lake District on 14th June 2025.
