Great North Run- on behalf of my girlfriend

I am taking part in the great north run on behalf of my strong, brave, amazing girlfriend who faced one of the worst things possible at such a young age.

Laura was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2021 at the age of 24. Laura battled 3 months of intensive chemotherapy whereby she suffered physical and emotional trauma. Without the support of her friends family and the teenage cancer trust she wouldn’t be where she is today. Therefore this is a cause close to our hearts and we would like to give back in anyway we can.

Teenage Cancer Trust: Creates world class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don't have to face cancer alone and this is exactly what they did for Laura.
