Hi! We're back this year, along with some four-legged friends, to take part in the Great Limerick Run to raise funds for Cherai Tails – a street dog sanctuary in Kerala, India. Last year's fundraising made a HUGE impact, building a purpose made permanent shelter to protect dogs from the monsoon.
Cherai Tails feeds, vaccinates and spays street dogs, rehomes their pups and pays for vet care and medicines when needed. It is run singlehandedly by an ex Clare and Limerick woman who employs several Kerala locals to help with feeding and transport.
Cherai Tails is funded entirely by donors.
You can see the incredible daily work of Cherai Tails on Instagram (@frienda_of_cherai_tails) and Facebook (@cheraitails). So many dogs have received help and care and so many more still need it.
Please sponsor our 10K - no amount is too little - and help us to give the street dogs of Cherai Beach a better chance at life.
