Great Hope orphanage
Donation protected
I am currently deployed to Kenya and over the next 6 months I will be supporting Great hope orphanage.
Great Hope take in children who have either lost their parents or been abandoned by them and the children have been through extremely hard times, unfortunately this is a huge problem in Kenya. They are home to 40 children from the ages of 1-18. Paul, who runs the orphanage with his parents, looks after the children day to day and their aim is to give the children the best a parent can give to a child. They provide the children with education, despite little government funding, church services and food to help them become functional members of the community.
Whilst here in Kenya there are multiple projects I wish to do and also continue some projects which are on going, in order to make the children’s lives better and provide them with the little things that make the biggest of difference.
Some of the projects include, getting them some milking goats and building a pen for them, extending one of the structures in order to facilitate room for one of the children who suffers with cerebral palsy and purchasing seeds for them to grow produce. Anything I do not complete will be passed on to the next group who come out here in Jan 25.
These children have been through things no child should ever have to go through yet they still manage to have the biggest smiles on their faces that could light up any room and they are so grateful for what they have.
Any donation will be much appreciated and I can assure you the orphanage will be forever grateful for it.
Thank you for taking the time to read❤️
