Rod Suttles is truly one of the hardest working men you'll ever meet! A love of people and cars brought him to be "Da Man" of Hollywood Detail washing and detailing cars, trucks, boats, and RV's for over 20 years throughout the Sacramento area!
Unfortunately, while washing the roof of a long-time customer's vehicle, Rod fell from a ladder and severely broke his right ankle causing him to have surgery where multiple metal plates and screws were put in place to help him heal.
Of course Rod being Rod, he took his cast covered leg and continued to wash vehicles so he wouldn't let his beloved customers down. As anyone who saw him during this time could attest to, he was literally washing cars using a walker, crutches, and/or a scooter! Unfortunately, that caused his wounds to become wet and irritated and when the cast was removed a few weeks later, the doctors found a severe infection.
Powerful antibiotics were begun and the wound was cleaned and all of the previous surgery had to be re-done with new plates, screws, etc.
Fast forward two weeks and Rod is still in the hospital where they are still attempting to get the infection behind him so he can go home. Even when he returns home, Rod will need to continue antibiotic injections for another month and will need to stay off his leg for a still undetermined amount of time so he can heal properly.
Help support this hard-working self-employed man by leaving your vehicle a little dirty for an extra week and take the money you might have spend having Rod or even someone else wash it and donate that money to Rod and his family to help with living expenses while his detail truck is parked awaiting his recovery!
