Anastasia has Potocki Lupski Syndrome (PTLS), characterized by low muscle tone, delayed motor skill and verbal development, and autism spectrum disorders; also having a compromised immune system. Annie was a Chive Charities recipient in June 2017, her family was able to get her a service dog to help with the seizures when she's alone. Annie could use our help again, she currently needs a palate extender because her mouth is too small. The doctor recommends getting it ASAP, but Medicaid won't cover it until she's 12, and she needs it way before then. It'll cost $3,000 out of pocket for the palate extender.
