Imagine being just 41 and having a beautiful family with four young children that have bright futures ahead...

Now Imagine visiting the doctors with some pain, and being told that you have bowel cancer already spread to your liver and that without specialist treatment, you have just six months to live!!

Imagine hearing those words!!

Imagine the thoughts that go through your mind!! How do I tell my partner, my children, my family? Do I tell them? What will they do without me? Why has this happened to me? IS THIS REAL??

Well, last week, that's precisely what happened to a good friend/family member of ours, Carlos.

Carlos is a dedicated and devoted father, whose whole world revolves around his family, children and their well-being. He is a kind, caring man, adored by his partner and children (also his four best mates!), and he always lights up the room with his smile, humour and glowing personality.

Carlos's diagnosis is 100% terminal – UNLESS we can help him and his family raise the funds required to give him one last fighting chance of BEATING this horrible, horrible, life-destroying disease and getting the (SIRT) therapy that he needs.
