Help Ace Run Free Again

Hi, I’m Shandra, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Jen Reimink, her sons, and their sweet golden retriever, Ace.

After losing their beloved 12-year-old husky, Suka, the Reimink family felt a giant hole in their hearts and home. That changed when they adopted two golden retriever brothers—Ace and Bo—who brought love, laughter, and joy back into their lives.

Now, at just 15 months old, Ace is facing a heartbreaking challenge. He’s been struggling with hip pain, and a vet visit and X-rays, they’ve learned he has a serious hip and femoral deformity. To live comfortably again—and to run, play, and be the happy pup he deserves to be—Ace will need orthopedic surgery.

They’ve been quoted $4,000–$7,000 for the consultation and surgery, and every dollar will help cover his medical costs and recovery. Jen is a devoted single mom, managing everyday expenses, and now facing this unexpected medical cost, she’s unsure how she’ll afford Ace’s surgery.
