Help Sadie kick cancer's butt

I am creating this fundraiser for a former soccer player of mine and one of my daughter's best friends. She is battling a rare form of pediatric cancer. Sadie is a Junior at Mooreville High School. She enjoys sports, so this is especially difficult for her before her Senior year. Please prayerfully consider helping her family during this challenging time. All proceeds will go directly to Sadie's family. Thank you for the prayers and support. We will post updates as they are provided. Here is a little about Sadie's journey so far:

Sadie was diagnosed with flu on Nov. 14. Every since that day she has been throwing up pretty much daily and has lost 12 pounds. They thought the flu had caused gastritis, so they gave her meds but nothing helped. We went to Le Bonheur for an upper GI and found out she has a mass in her stomach. The camera couldn’t get around it, so we had no idea what type of mass or how big it was.

We found out that Sadie has a very rare cancer in children called Gastric Adenocarcinoma. It’s usually found in adults, not children or teens. She had a port put in and exploratory laparoscopic surgery yesterday to make sure there are no small tumors that were not shown on CT/PET Scans and then start chemo Thursday. She will do chemo every two weeks for four rounds. She will then have surgery to remove it, and then chemo for another four rounds. As long as she’s tolerating treatment okay she will be outpatient and we can come home between treatments. She will have to have lab work done weekly so they’re working on where that can be done without having to drive to St. Jude every week.
