Grayson's Water Well

Hello,

My name is Grayson. I am 10 years old and in the 5th grade.

Last year I went to Honduras with my mom and dad to drill a water well.

I saw how kids there are getting water. They are drinking dirty water from the river and it is making them sick. So sick they miss school a lot.

I met a friend named David. He came to our lessons on time the first day but was late the next three days. I know it was because I saw David on his bike with water jugs tied to the front. He had to go so far for water he didn't make it back in time.

When kids have to go so far for their water if they are late for school they just don't go to school.

I want to sponsor a well to give a whole community of kids clean water.

The clean water will make them healthy and they won't have to work so hard to get their water.

And they won't miss school.
