Baby Grayson needs open heart surgery that will require 6-8 weeks of recovery time. I used up most of my sick leave to cover maternity leave and doctors appointments/emergency room visits for Grayson since I had him. While I can file for FMLA to keep my job while he recovers from surgery, FMLA will not pay the bills. I only have about one week of leave left and will need a total of 6-8 weeks off work to stay home and take care of Grayson while he recovers and heals. The goal is at least 7 weeks worth of my average pay but any little bit helps to be able to stay home with Grayson until he heals and can return to daycare. Please share out to your friends.
