UPDATE:
12/13/22 an MRI revealed that that Grayson has a recurrence of his cancer. The tumor is located in his brain and due to the location it is inoperable. Grayson will have surgery to implant a port again and a biopsy to confirm the type of cancer. The regimen will be 4-6 cycles of ICE chemotherapy and 3 weeks of radiation therapy. The chemotherapy will be in-patient due to him needing IV fluids while receiving chemotherapy.
Basic schedule for each cycle will be 3-5 days in the hospital then 2 weeks at home. During the 2 weeks at home Grayson will be going into the clinic for neulasta infusions and blood draws. At some point in the treatment plan there will be three weeks of radiation therapy. The radiation treatment will be M-F for the three week treatment.
Due to the in-patient chemotherapy treatments, there will be missed work for Daniel and many more expenses for them including all of the medical costs, fuel for their travel back and forth from the clinic and hospital, and meals away from home (Grayson isn’t fond of hospital food). This fundraiser will help Carin and Daniel focus on Grayson and Beckham during this time.

Grayson was diagnosed with clear cell sarcoma of the kidney and had surgery to remove the tumor along with his kidney and adrenal gland on May 6th 2021.
All lymph nodes that were removed during the surgery came back clear of disease. His lung scan, MRI of the brain, CT scan, and bone scan all came back clear so his cancer is classified as Stage 1 overall.
Grayson will start the chemotherapy regimen on Monday, May 24th. This regimen is 28 weeks and consists of a 3 week rotating chemotherapy schedule. Week 1 is Monday through Friday then weeks 2 and 3 are Monday through Wednesday. The schedule then starts over with week 1 schedule.
This fundraiser will help Carin and Daniel with expenses and out of pocket costs related to Grayson’s treatment. We want to give them one less thing to worry about during this time so they can focus on Grayson and helping him heal!
