GRAYSON is an energetic, loving, creative and sweet 4th grade student at Northside Elementary School in Fairport NY (just outside of Rochester). He loves collecting Pokemon cards and trading them with his friends, playing Minecraft, playing with his Beanie Bears, and playing Gaga Ball outside. In early December, he developed a lump on the side of his neck. After two months of Doctor visits, antibiotics, X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, repeated blood work, a needle biopsy, surgical removal of Lymph Nodes, and finally a PET scan, Grayson has been diagnosed with HODGKIN’S LYMPHOMA. The good news is that the cancer is in the early stage, is slow growing, and is treatable. Also, Grayson has a great attitude. He says it’s like playing one of his video games only it’s real… and HE’S GOING TO WIN. GRAYSON started his first cycle of chemotherapy at Strong Memorial Hospital on February 27th (a couple weeks after his 10th birthday). He will continue to receive chemotherapy for the next four months after which he’ll be reevaluated and hopefully, will be cancer-free and won’t require additional treatments. This GOFUNDME will help Grayson’s family cover medical costs and other expenses related to his battle with cancer and journey to restored good health. The Doctors’ appointments, tests, procedures, and surgery leading up to his diagnosis have already cost the family several thousand dollars in co-pays.
